WeStaff Sweden is now looking for a production technician as a consultant for Revent International AB in Upplands Väsby. Revent is a well-established and innovative manufacturing company with a global presence, developing, manufacturing, and selling professional equipment for bakeries worldwide.

In this role, you will work in a modern workshop and production environment with technically advanced products and become an important part of Revent's continued development. The assignment is suitable for you who want to work close to production, contributing with structure and improvements.

What does the job entail?

As a production technician at Revent, you will have a broad and responsible role where you act as a key person between production, design, purchasing, and quality. You will work closely with operators, technicians, and production management to develop and streamline production processes.

Revent operates according to an ISO 9001-certified management system, which means a structured approach, clear processes, and a strong focus on quality. The production departments include sheet metal processing, welding, assembly, and electrical connections.

Examples of tasks:

• Work on production technology improvements focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency

• Drive and participate in improvement projects according to LEAN methodology (e.g., 5S, SMED, Poka Yoke, Fishbone)

• Support supervisors in deviation management and assist the quality department with production-related complaints

• Review, develop, and document work methods, manufacturing processes, and work instructions

• Collaborate with the design department in product development, selection of manufacturing methods, and updating of drawing documentation

• Participate in planning maintenance, repairs, and calibration

• Ensure that routines, guidelines, and standards are followed and further developed

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with production technology experience from the manufacturing or workshop industry who thrives in a consulting role where you quickly immerse yourself in the business and create value. You are structured, communicative, and solution-oriented, with a good ability to collaborate across departmental boundaries.

We would like you to have:

• Post-secondary education with a focus on production technology, or equivalent work experience

• At least 2 years of experience in the manufacturing/workshop industry with a focus on production technology

• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings, both mechanical drawings and electrical schematics

• Good experience in measurement technology and working with measuring equipment

• Practical experience in sheet metal processing, welding, and/or assembly

• Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• A driver's license and access to a car are required to commute to and from the workplace

It is a merit (but not a requirement) if you have:

• Experience with ERP/MPS systems

• Documented LEAN experience

• Experience in calibration

• Knowledge in automation

• Experience in laser welding

• Electrical engineering competence

• Start: Immediately or by agreement

• Scope: Full-time, daytime (Monday–Friday)

• Location: Upplands Väsby

• Employment form: Consulting assignment via WeStaff Sweden, with a good opportunity for transition to employment with Revent International AB in the long term
